Background: Evidence suggests that considering the type of heart disease diagnosis, people's quality of life can be different; Therefore, the aim of this study was to compare the quality of life in patients with acute myocardial infarction, heart failure and normal in 2014. Martials and Methods: This descriptive study was which 100 patients with heart disease - cardiovascular (50 patients with acute myocardial infarction and 50 patients with heart failure) and 50 normal people who were matched in terms of demographic characteristics of patients In 2014 the sampling were selected. Information collected by (QOL) questionnaire at a significant level of 0.05 and univariate analysis of variance were analyzed using SPSS version 20.Results: According to the findings, among heart patients and normal subjects there is a significant difference between quality of life (P=0.001); so patients with acute myocardial infarction and heart failure have lower scores in terms of quality of life than normal people. Also, no significant differences was observed in quality of life with acute myocardial infarction and heart failure (P=0.670). Conclusion: Due to differences in the quality of life for heart patients and normal people, education and awareness of heart disease in these categories seem to be necessary
